Training

without comments

Ran everyday again this week. Some on 400m track, some on concrete pavement.

Track running takes good concentration. There are usually lots of people out there. Key is to not get distracted and to focus on myself. Count “1, 2, 3, mile” and just keep going.

My pace has been getting better. It feels good to see improvements. Training makes you stronger and faster. It doesn’t come easy. Success takes dedication and commitment.

Watched Roland Garros semifinals last night. Federer survived a tough match against Del Potro. The Argentine’s service games were pretty much untouchable for most of the first three sets. Then out of nowhere, Federer upped his game and overcame his opponent. I love it when a player digs deep and wills himself to a win. Running is the same. Mental toughness is very important. Forget the bad plays, ignore the pain. Focus on the goal, the positive thoughts.
