Good time with family Nan, Aim, George, and friend Marty.

On Sunday, we went to watch London Marathon near the finish line. Saw Keitany and Kipsang won their races comfortably in two of the fastest times in history. On Monday, I had a nice 12 km run in Hyde Park with Marty. It was my longest run in a couple months, but I felt great because of the cool weather. Wednesday, raced 5 km in a casual charity race. Had fun while earning a self-timed personal best (21:00). Overall, I haven’t run much while here, but lots of walking everyday.

Loving the city. Great food (have probably gained some weight) and transportation (love not having to drive). Weather, though a bit rainy, is nice and cool. With right clothing, it’s pleasant. Going back tomorrow to face Bangkok 40 C temp. Ahh…

London vacation

I’m going on vacation to London soon. First time to visit my sister there. Good opportunity to escape the summer heat of Thailand briefly. My first vacation since Mar 2011 (Tokyo).

While there, I will run the 5k Orchid Blue River Run. Should be a good time in chilly and wet weather.
