Reflections on the Grind

thoughts on training and life of an introvert

A slow journey

Yesterday’s run was all about getting out there, building the base, and avoiding injuries. The weather was hot as usual. I’ve gotten used to it. It’s hot and humid here. One’s got to deal with it. It’s always better to be running, no matter what.

Kaset campus is nice to run in. But the hard concrete is bad for my knees, and my body overall, I think. Got to find softer surface to run on.

I still am not anywhere near my goal distance. I have to keep it short to avoid being hurt, and slowly build up. Patience and persistence are the keys. Just keep going and don’t give up.
