Hard run

Attended the Kasetsart conference in the morning. In the afternoon, I had to prepare a presentation for a press conference. The presentation is Thursday morning at Ministry of Science. Serious stuff. Then, I’m riding a van to Cha-am in the afternoon that day, to attend Siam Physics Congress conference. Busy, busy, busy.

I ran again this evening. On Sunday, I feared I might be getting a cold after having a sore throat. Happy to find out that it’s false alarm (so far anyway).

Still, today is not a good session. Just no energy. Planned a long run, but could only do half of that. Got knee pain again… 😦

My legs were tired today. No bounce in the steps. I think when you are tired, your mechanics got screwed up. Legs got tight. When you are not running smoothly, your muscles get cramped up and injuries occur.

Hard pavement didn’t help. Could feel the pain in every step. So much shock from the surface. It’s too bad there’s no soft trail around here to run on.

So, a tough session today. But my daily run streak is still alive.

Keep pushing on.
