A run, in a troubled time

Woke up early again today. The rain hitting the roof made me spring up from the bed. Good that the rain went on just for a short time, so I was able to do a morning run. Got out a bit late so had to deal with the heat. Ran less than yesterday. The paces are comparable.

Must start going longer soon. Speed can come later. Need a long-distance base.

It’s still a nervous time for us Bangkok residents. We have been pretty much keeping our eyes and ears on the news. There is still violence out there so we must be careful. Some roads are closed but many are open. We drove to supermarket and see relatives in the afternoon. No trouble on our routes. As the day went on, more and more people came out and participated in Songkran water play. It’s nice to see that it’s not all gloomy in Bangkok. Hoping that things will improve soon.

Start packing for my trip this weekend. Just throwing things in the suitcase for now.
