Fifth day off

Played tennis last night for 1 hour. 7-8p. At Punjabut courts, in Soi Naknivas, Ladprao. Had a pretty good time.

In Bangkok, the riots are over, for now. People were out playing Songkran water-fight on the streets. More holidays were announced by the government, so that the officials can clean up the city. I don’t actually want these additional off-days, as there is some work to get done. In total, we’ll have 10 straight days off. Too many, I think. But it is what it is. Got to deal with it.

The best part about the holiday is that I can run in the morning. Otherwise I can only run in the evening after work.

Got up around 7am today. Went to Nawamin Park to run. Started a little after 8 am. It got progressively hotter as time went by. With the rising heat, the number of people running and walking went down, and my pace got slower. Temperature ended up around 31-32C, but it felt much hotter. My eyes got irritated by the sweat. It stung pretty bad. The shirt was soaked. Running in the rain probably wouldn’t make it much wetter.

It was a good run. Refueled by banana, orange, and Mirinda drink.
