Another “rest” day. Off the road and on the treadmill again. Did a pre-lunch short run. Then did a little spin workout in the evening. Sweated profusely. Cycling is a good cross-training workout. Much less impact on the knees/feet.

Only five days left in August, and less than three months till the race. Training has taken a hit due to illness/injuries. This month’s mileage will be significantly lower than that in July. Just a bump in the road. Patience is key.
