Recovery day

It was another fine day.

My lunch included som tam again. Spicy.

Fast forward to the evening. Yesterday session (intervals) was tough and my body really felt the effects today. Though I was very sluggish, it’s good to get out there and move. The pace was good today for a recovery run. Slow but steady. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel more fresh.

It’s been a heavy week so far in terms of mileage. Have to be careful about the distance increase. Patience is very important.

Just read a news story about Jeremy Kunz. He was a runner whose life was taken away from him by a drunk driver. May he rest in peace. Life is short. When it’s over, it’s over. Sometimes you never see it coming.
