Cool runs

Followed Western States 100 this past weekend. Inspiring stuff. Geoff Roes, Tony Krupicka, Kilian Jornet Burgada put up an awesome race and smashed the course record.

Due to travel to Ireland last week, I miss some runs. But it was nice to run in Dublin. I woke up by 5am each morning and got out the door to get a run in before the conference.

I ran along River Liffey and explored the city streets. I noticed right away that there are no street dogs to worry about. Pleasant weather was a nice change. I haven’t run in under 25C weather in a long time. Temperature in the city was about 10C in the morning and 20C in the afternoon. Hardly got any sweat after each run.

Now that I’m back home, it’s back to typical warm and humid weather again. Dublin was a nice break.

June numbers: 180 miles, 0 days off.
