Reflections on the Grind

thoughts on training and life of an introvert

Wet season

Bought new shoes and tried them for a run during the weekend. MT100. They are light trail shoes from New Balance. Not suited for running on a hard pavement, which is my usual running surface, unfortunately. Living in Bangkok, there aren’t any mountains or unpaved trails nearby. But I think the shoes will come in handy for running on muddy track, especially in this rainy season.

2 pairs of new balance.

Last week was good. Generally happy with the consistency these days. After taking two days off at the beginning of the month, I have run everyday since. Temperature is ranging between 27-29C. The humidity is wearing me down but I’m still on my feet, moving. Running big miles, eating big meals. Just taking it one day at a time. Life is good.

  3. Hi Rop. I have a pair of the NB Trails and wore them at last year’s cross country meet in Golden Gate Park. They are worth it. Please take care.
