Reflections on the Grind

thoughts on training and life of an introvert

A runner doesn’t need much. A pair of shorts and a pair of shoes and one is ready to go.

My main road shoes, Asics Nimbus 8, are coming apart. Outsole is getting loose and the inner cushioning fabric is torn. They have certainly served their purpose. Over 1000 miles in them. Good shoes. I doubt my next pair will be Asics though. Too expensive in Thailand.

front of left shoe is coming loose.

I’ve switched to wearing New Balance 800 for pavement running. They aren’t new though, with 600 miles already on them.

Gonna be looking for light shoes which dry quickly, to run in this rainy season. Shopping time soon.

  1. Rop, I love the Asics Nimbus. Only wish they would come down a little in pirce here. Currently, I’m wearing the Mizuno Wave Rider 13s! Take care and will talk soon.
