Reflections on the Grind

thoughts on training and life of an introvert

Korea Oct 2010

with 3 comments

Today is my last day in this beautiful country. Been here for a conference this week. I have experienced great science (nuclear fusion) and arts (traditional culture, music, and paintings). Also had chances to see beautiful nature (Gyeryongsan park) and eat delicious Korean food (bibimbap, bulgolgi, pork BBQ). Korean hospitality and positivity are impressive as well.

It is my second visit to Korea—just over three years after my first one. Love it like last time.

I also had quality runs in cool weather. Four morning runs along Gapcheon river. Without cars or dogs to worry about, the runs were terrific.

Nice time with good friends.

Hoping to return here again one day.
