Summer running

with 2 comments

Three big marathons this past weekend were full of amazing performances. Emmanuel Mutai and Mary Keitany put on the shows in London. Geoffrey Mutai ran world best 2:03:02 in Boston. Americans Ryan Hall, Desiree Davilla, and Kara Goucher impressed. Haile Geb won Vienna half one day shy of his 38th birthday. Good to see him back strong.

Went to Chiang Mai during Songkran holidays. The summer weather was true to form. Sneaked in my daily runs in the morning when it was not too scorching hot. April has been a good month. Not great, but consistent.

Got the treadmill finally. To me, it’s a freedom to run whenever I want to and not having to deal with unpleasantries of Bangkok streets.
