Reflections on the Grind

thoughts on training and life of an introvert

Today is always the most meaningful day in your life. It’s the day you are alive. No guarantee if tomorrow will come. The past is gone, over, finished. Nothing can be done about it.

Last night I went to a funeral. The day after tomorrow I’m going to a wedding. An end of one life, a beginning of another relationship. Time is passing by and nothing is certain except this moment. The end is also certain, but a funeral is also not guaranteed.

You are a guest in other people’s journeys, witnessing glimpses of their lives a little bit at a time. They are visitors in your journey too. Some just spend a brief moment, some may stay for a long time. But there is only one person who will be with you till the day you die. That person is yourself. Make that person happy.

Saturday, Monday, it doesn’t matter. Today is the day to do things you want to do.
