Reflections on the Grind

Winter in Bangkok

leave a comment »

It’s freezing in Bangkok, making most things besides taking a shower more pleasant. It’s crazy weather. Last week it was still hot and humid. Now people are wearing sweaters and scarves.

I must admit this weather agrees with me. No air conditioning is needed in office and at home. Less mosquitoes. People seem to be less in a rush. I feel more productive.

Today session included squat and overhead press. No sweat which is a nice change. When it’s hot it’s quite unpleasant in the gym. Under the weather like this I can stay in there for hours. The lifts themselves are not too heavy today. This is supposed to be an easy week before I test my maxes this weekend.
