Lift everyday

The rare winter seems to already be over after 4 days. Life is back to normal. Sweat is back.

If you want to be good at something, do it everyday. Make it part of your day like eating, brushing, and sleeping. You want to get strong? Lift as if your life depends on it. Don’t get distracted by other things, or you won’t get anywhere.

When you are hungry you only think of food because you need it to survive. When you are starving, nothing else but food seems important. If you have been under water for a long time, only air matters and you will do anything to reach the surface as fast as you can. If you seek food or air with such one tracked mind, you will damn sure get it. If all you want to do is be successful at something, and develop a training habit for it, you’ll be successful at it.

You want to be strong? Lift everyday. Be smart about it. Don’t beat yourself to the ground everyday. Rotate light and heavy days and let your body recover.

Right now I’m busy as hell but lifting is still my top priority. If it’s time to lift, everything else has to wait.
