Reflections on the Grind

thoughts on training and life of an introvert

Friday meditation

Yesterday I was riding the bus back to Bangkok. It was another long evening on the road. This week has been a good one. Lots of work but also lots of laughs. I passed the time by enjoying a comedy show on TV. Then I walked to my car and drove home to spend the Friday night at home. All was well.

Flow with the situation. You can’t make the world go the way you want. There is no reason why traffic congestion should upset you. It’s something that happens externally. It’s not up to you whether you get home early or late. You will arrive when you arrive.

Do not demand that things should happen just as you wish, but wish them to happen just as they do, and all will be well.
