Keep it simple
Get a hobby that means something to you. Then do it often. Don’t overanalyze. Just do it. Life is short.
You want to get strong? Follow something effective and can be done everyday. Even on the days you feel like crap, you should still be able to do your thing. Consistency is the name of the game.
Today I have another headache. Still able to row and bench. These are my comfort lifts. No matter how sick I am, I usually still am able to do them. Squat and deadlift, not so much.
Hobby is supposed to be simple and fun. Lifting is a hobby. You probably aren’t going to compete at the top level. You compete against yourself. Just have fun today and the PRs will keep coming.
