Better day in the gym
Feeling better than yesterday. Lower fever. More energy. Feeling hungry to train. Hungry to get better.
Not a very good sleep last night (late night of family dinner) plus a stressful Monday results in low energy in the evening. Not an excuse. Just a fact.
One down. Four to go.
Went to the gym after fooling around on the web for a while. Need to reduce that timewaster.
Only two lifts today. Three work sets each. Ankles felt okay today. So I squatted after reverse grip bench press. Keeping the squat at only about 50% of max. Taking it easy and building the strength back up, one rep at a time.
When you can squat without pain, it feels so good.
Had a great dinner of salmon steak, rice, and green peas. Perfect.
Yesterday was bad. Today went okay. Tomorrow will be better.
