Motivation overload

It’s easy to find motivation online these days. YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media provide quick kick in the butt to get you to the gym. Men and women of incredible physiques and strength are everywhere.

However, too much of anything isn’t good. Paying to much attention to them can be detrimental. You may develop unrealistic expectations. Then when you can’t get the same results quickly enough, you become deflated. Then you quit. You don’t know what they have been through or exactly what they have done. Don’t try to be a copy of someone else. Know your strengths and weaknesses and work with them.

Focus on your journey. It’s the only one that matters.

Hard squat session tonight. Four tough sets. Took long rests between sets. My squats just feel weak these days. Sucked it up and grinded them out.

Made breakfast for dinner. Egg, bacon, grilled pork, brown rice, and green peas. Yummy.
