thoughts on training and life of an introvert

News overconsumption

Today I train chest (bench), back (pull up and db row), and shoulders (top-half ohp).

When you wake up in the morning, appreciate the fact that you are alive, and able to think, to enjoy, and to love.

– Marcus Aurelius

Everyday, undesirable things happen in the world. You can get the news instantly these days through your phone and computer. It’s actually not always good to know everything that’s going on in the world.

I don’t have the time and energy to be depressed about the world. There would be no time to do anything else. It’s a waste of time to over consume news. I don’t get involved in things outside my control. It’s mentally taxing. Most things are not worth investing time on. Life is short. To me, it’s better spent focusing on your own goals.

Bad things are natural. They are going to keep happening no matter what. It’s foolish to think you can change the world. Focus on things within your control. You are alive. At the end of the day, you might not be. Make today count.
