Reflections on the Grind

thoughts on training and life of an introvert

Success is within

Try to be the best you can be. If you stop trying to improve, you are just a decaying piece of organic matter.

However, set s goal just to guide yourself. Don’t be a slave to it. Focus on the internal, such as your effort, not external, like end results.

An external outcome depends on so many things. You would stress yourself out chasing the thing outside your control. In the end you wouldn’t have fun anymore. Then there would be no point in working toward that goal.

Besides, if you achieved an external goal but you didn’t accomplish all that by yourself, would you be truly satisfied about that? If someone helped you greatly and you only did a little, what is there to be proud of? You didn’t earn it.

Knowing that you have given your all, that is enough. Be happy because you are already successful.
