Two matches to go

As a Barcelona fan, last night’s result was very satisfying (5-0 vs Espanyol). Just two matches remain this season. If they beat Granada and Sevilla they will win La Liga title and Copa del Rey title. After an uncharacteristically poor stretch of results, the double would be a fantastic finish. Nothing is certain. It’s one game at a time, one pass at a time. They could lose everything. Anything is possible with football. It’s important to not take things for granted. Even if they don’t win anything this season, this is a very good team with great players who play well together. It’s not going to last. Must appreciate the team.

Today I did one of my comfort lifts, the barbell shrug. It’s very easy to set up and the movement has never given me trouble in terms of injuries (knock on wood). I mean, I love squat but the squat doesn’t love me. It keeps giving me foot pain. Barbell shrug is comfortable. The range of motion is very short and a set can be finished very quickly. The shrug works the back and traps, which are big muscles that can handle a lot of weight. Unless you go stupidly heavy, it’s not going to hurt you.
