Reflections on the Grind

thoughts on training and life of an introvert

Easy Friday

A rather uneventful day at work. Nice to be able to sit back and relax once in a while. Calm before a storm. Next week is going to be busy, with meetings on four out of five days. I do not mind meetings as long as they are productive. They often take too long and diverge a lot though.

Went out to have lunch with a couple of colleagues. Grilled beef was rather good. Better than what I can find in the cafeteria. It’s also about five times as expensive the cafeteria food I usually eat. Good things don’t come cheap.

It’s good to wrap up another work week. Now time to enjoy the weekend. Have to oversee renovation at the house.

Quick and easy session this evening, as typical of a Friday session. Bench up to 70%. A set of pull-ups and chin-ups each.

I don’t think I eat enough. I want to get bigger and stronger. A new eating plan is needed.
