The terrible back pain from yesterday slowly subsided throughout the day. It’s good, showing there still hope for this old body to fight on and get stronger. At least I can do stuff pretty normally and don’t have to depend on others. Able to do close grip bench in the evening, continuing my “let’s see what doesn’t currently hurt and train that” routine.

Busy at work these days. Stress comes from other people’s expectations, if you allow it, that is. The key to happiness is to focus in doing the right things. You do your best, and if that’s not enough for somebody, so what? You don’t live your life to satisfy everyone. You live to do things that are right.

Integrity. Value it. Live it. It’s what is important.

Went out to have dinner with colleagues. Nice meal with grilled beef. Chocolate ice cream to wrap it up.

– 60.0 kgs x 14 reps
