Play by the rules
There are protests going on in the streets of American cities. It’s clearly a tiny fraction. Most Americans don’t go out and break things. But those who riot give the country a bad name.
I think it’s just stupid. You may not like Trump as a person or his policies, but you must respect the election result. It doesn’t matter who you voted for. You must respect the democratic system. You must respect the presidential office. As an American, you should cheer for him to succeed and do a good job. I’m not American and I don’t care about Trump, but even I wish for the country to do well.
The violent protests just speak badly about the Clinton’s supporters. They don’t care about the country. They just want their own candidate to win. Protesting is egocentric and is a sign of disrespect toward the voices of your countrymen. You must play by rule and give your president a chance he deserves and earns by constitutional right. Your feelings don’t matter. To get Trump out of the office, wait four years and find another candidate who is better than Trump and beat him in the voting booths. That’s how you play the game.
You are better than this, America. Don’t be like some backward third world country where dictators never play by the rules and have no respect for the constitution and people’s voices.
