Quiet day at home. Still not 100%. Light bench and rack pull to continue recovery.
In general feeling pretty skinny and weak. Need to change that. Need to eat and grow.
Best gifts are ones that you give to yourself. They aren’t external, like products you can buy from the stores or online. Gifts that make you consumers aren’t any good. Shopping is never ending. Best gifts are internal. They are mindsets to keep improving. You are the only one that can bestow such gifts on yourself.
Day six. No driving or lifting. But could lift my head up from the desk. Could start eating. Could focus on tasks for a longer period of time.
Saw a doctor. Diagnosed to be a simple cold. Got a bunch of medicines to take.
It’s a common cold that hit like a truck. But I’m almost over it now.
Tomorrow I hope to get back to training.
Day 5 of the 2016’s worst stretch of days. Felt lethalgic but better than previous days. Dragged myself to work. Didn’t feel like driving while dizzy. Use Uber to get to work then grabcar to come back.
Got some work done but not much. Barely functional. Collapsed to bed when getting home.
Survived another day.
Still sick. Took the day off from work.
Fever, body aches, headache, chills, sore throat, nausea, diarrhea. Not good.
Feel like dying at times. Good health is the most important asset to have. Can’t wait to feel well again.
It might also be due to low red blood count, from the blood donation last week, that makes the recovery not as quick as it should be.
Another bedridden day. Getting slowly better though.
No gym again today. Didn’t feel like doing anything but lie down. Did watch UFC. That was fun.
Despite the illness, got couple things done this weekend. Changed official home address and got a new faster internet installed. Feels good to get things done.
Today is just not a good day. Woke up feeling like crap. Had fever and chills. There is not much you can do when you get sick like this. Just the way it is. No training and slept all day.
Hoping for a better tomorrow.
