Look, there’s something to lift

with one comment

Landed in Incheon airport in the morning. We spent a very long time in the immigration line. Then we took a 3-hour bus ride to Daejeon. We walked to have lunch in a mall after checking into the hotel. Then we went out to our meeting. I was very tired due to the lack of sleep. Glad to be back at the hotel and can sleep. This post will be quick as my eyes are about to close.

When you have no expectation, things often turn out well. I didn’t how anything about the place we were going to stay. The residence turned out to be great. It’s not luxurious or fancy, but it has the basics for a long stay. Kitchen with utensils, sink, fridge, microwave oven, TV (all channels in Korean), desktop computer (old, slow, and in Korean). All these are nice but I probably won’t get to use them during this trip. More importantly it has a gym. It’s small and doesn’t have much (3 treadmills, 2 bikes, 4 weight machines, dumbbells up to 10 kg) but it’s very adequate for our two-night stay. Lifting us a very simple hobby. You just need some weights to lift up and down. Training in an air conditioned room is awesome. Pumping iron before bed is the perfect way to relax.
