Roaring into new year

It’s almost over. 2016. New beginning. Continuation of this short life. Here’s to another year full of PB’s. I’m a beast and will live like one. I will work hard and be consistent to be the best I can be. 

I might die this year. No day will be wasted on things I don’t care about. My remaining days in this earth go down everyday. I can’t waste time pleasing other people.

Your life is valuable. Talk less, do more. Be less distracted, be more focused. Care less about bullshit, zero in more toward your goal.

Don’t get overwhelmed. Have the end goal in mind. To get where you want to go you have to work toward it.

Let’s get things done, one at a time. One task is never too much. You can handle it. 

Learn along the way. Grow. Enjoy life. Be in control of your own happiness.

Challenges

Challenges make you grow. Embrace the challenges. Those who cower in fear are afraid to fail. Be wise. Understand that failing is part of being alive. It’s the learning process. Your life is filled with events, like a book with stories. In the end, nobody cares if it’s a perfect book. 

Those who fail after those with courage to try new things. Those who don’t fail are cowards who never try anything. Winners are those who don’t stop when they fail. They don’t quit because others laugh at them. If you care about what people think you already lose.

Difficult things

Challenges. Obstacles. Difficult tasks.

Some fold under pressure. Some find excuses not to proceed. Some take up the challenge and give their best.

Some are afraid to fail. They like easy paths. Some are excited to be challenged. Thrilled to be one of the few who take part in the grand pursuit.

Some are attached to the outcome and others’ opinions. Some at determined to try their hardest and are satisfied just from that.

Guess who will be more successful and lead a more fulfilling life?

Show up

Want to improve on something? Then do it consistently. Don’t just talk about it. Don’t announce it on Facebook that you are gonna do it. By talking about the final outcome before you even begin working toward your goal, you set yourself up to fail. You fool yourself into thinking you already have what you want. Success comes from doing, not talking. So stop fooling around and go put in the work.

For example, if you want to build muscles and be strong, don’t begin by buying fancy clothes or gadgets. The process isn’t going to be pretty. Go to the gym. Don’t keep posting pictures on social media. Get down and dirty. Wear yourself out. Then go eat and sleep. Then do it again the next day. Keep it simple, don’t make the process complicated than necessary.

The most important thing is be consistent. There is no magic food or workout that will give you your ideal body overnight. You have to keep hitting the gym and take care of your recovery. Trust the process and the result will come.

Being lazy isn’t gonna take you anywhere. Find your thing. Show up. Be at the place that allows you to do what you love. When the time comes to go do your thing, drop everything and go.
